At Courtesy Corporation, we're now offering another way for people to create healthy meals in our restaurants. In March 2008, we joined the 500 Club®-a healthy eating program coordinated by Gundersen Lutheran Health System’s registered dietitians and recommended by their physicians. 500 Club selections, which are analyzed by the dietitians, are controlled in fat and calories and designed to make healthy eating easy. All selections contain approximately 500 calories or less and are controlled in fat (15 grams of fat or less).
500 Club selections are featured in our La Crosse area restaurants.
Did you know that, on average, adults need 2,000 calories per day? Calories are needed to fuel our bodies. Breaking down 2,000 calories equals three 600 calorie meals and 200 calories for snacks. With the variety of sizes and choices at McDonald's, it's easy to put together a meal around 600 calories. Courtesy Corporation worked directly with McDonald's registered dietitians to develop meals that are controlled in fat and calories. These options contain less than 600 calories per meal. This program makes wholesome choices easy.
